CIL represents at AWRA Meeting; Jaya Suneja wins student poster award

We presented two posters at the annual American Water Resources Association Wisconsin Section (AWRA WI). Dr. Logan Ebert presented a poster focused on the potential of intercropped cover crops as a nitrogen management tool in Wisconsin potatoes grown on sandy soils. He used some very cool remote sensing and machine learning approaches to segment our drone data for this study. Jaya Suneja presented a poster focused on irrigation distribution uniformity assessments in California Almonds. This was Jaya’s first poster as a first-year M.S. student working with both remotely sensed drone data and the Two Source Energy Balance (TSEB). We are so proud of her for taking home a student poster award for her work!
