Jehona Zeneli shares science with policymakers at Research on the Rotunda

Undergraduate researcher Jehona Zeneli shares work comparing satellite and ground-based measurements of crop water use

Jehona Zeneli is a fourth year Biological Systems Engineering undergraduate student who has been working with our lab for the past few months to compare data from ensemble models of satellite-based evapotranspiration data (OpenET) with biometeorological field measurements of ET using eddy covariance data in partnership with Prof. Ankur Desai’s group. On April 2nd, she was one of six undergraduate students selected to represent the University of Wisconsin-Madison at Research in the Rotunda, an event that highlights undergraduate research across Wisconsin. At the Capitol, Jehona shared her work with state legislators and other leaders in academia in hopes of developing better tools to support WI Farmers manage water.
