Erica Edwards Receives Western SARE Grant!

Erica Edwards was selected to receive a Western SARE Graduate Research and Education grant ($29,999) funding her project titled ‘Thermal Radiometry to Validate Ensemble Evapotranspiration (ET) on Sustainable Small Farms’. Methods that estimate ET were developed for large homogeneous canopies, but could soon influence regulation for all. Erica’s project assess the accuracy of related ensemble ET products for diverse crop systems, and potential impact for small farms already participating in water efficiency practices.
